Megalo is inviting artists and printmakers to apply for a place in the 2008 Printmaker In Residence Program. The purpose of the program is to promote excellence and innovation in the field of printmaking. Artists can choose from Megalo's comprehensive range of printmaking facilities which include facilities for etching, lithography, relief printing and screen printing on fabric or paper.

The Inter-Arts Office offers grants for artist-initiated residencies as well as one residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.

The Inter-Arts Office will consider artist-initiated residency proposals from artists exploring interdisciplinary art, hybrid art and new artistic practice.

The Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award is a national bi-annual event. The award is for painting, drawing or printing and is open to young Australian artists between the ages of 18 and 28 years, offering an acquisitive prize of $5000 first prize, $1500 for Highly Commended and $800 for Commended.

The Sidney Myer Fund International Ceramics Award in association with La Trobe University was established by Shepparton Art Gallery in 1997 to provide an unprecedented opportunity for a major international ceramic award and exhibition in Australia. All styles of ceramic works are accepted.

The International Artists Residency is a three week Residency Program for visual artists in upstate New York. Art Omi provides artists with a studio, living quarters and meals at no cost to the artist. Artists pay for their travel and art materials. Artists may apply for one of our Fellowships to help with costs for travel and art materials.
