Artist Statement
In my art practice one of the main issues I am interested in exploring further is the issue of the environment and the way we are influenced by it and vice versa.
Locating and placing signs and symbols, both real and imagined ones, in relation to our everyday life is of particular interest to me.
I have been investigating this issue using variety of methods and materials, combining canvas and paint with recycled and domestic ones.
The emphasis was placed on the visible and invisible imprints – meanings and possibilities of meaning embedded in materials themselves as well as presented in the transformed, final product.
