The Foundation welcomes, throughout the year, applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. There are no deadlines. The Foundation encourages applications from artists who have genuine financial needs that are not necessarily catastrophic. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time.
Over 100 Fellowships are awarded annually to passionate Australian Citizens who want to conduct research overseas and bring the benefits back to Australia. Average fellowship value is $25 000, with no limit to the proposed subject of research.

Entries are now open for the Joesphine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Prize. The collective value of the acquisitive prize is $20 000, and this year will be judged by Naomi Cass, Director of the Centre for Contemporary Photography.
