The National Portrait Gallery invites all young Australians between 18 and 25 to enter the National Youth Self Portrait Prize 2009. A selection of entries, including the prize-winning work, will be displayed at the Natonal Portait Gallery from 23 July until 13 September 2009.

Ornament, an exhibition of recent works by Tasmanian photographer Anne MacDonald, is running from 18 September until 26 October. Through a large scale photographic installation the artist explores the relationship between photography, death and transience.
